One of the things I like best about the web is that I often stumble on amazing talents through my web travels. Recently, I came across a wonderful poet, Delores Hooper Davis, who was kind enough to allow me to publish one of her poems here, though I encourage you to visit her site and read all of her works. This is a talented, straight talking poet, and a voice that I truly do enjoy.
Those of you that have been around me during this last presidential election know that I have been a bit manic throughout the process. So, I am going to try to curb getting on the soapbox about it...instead I will let this work by Ms. Davis stand as my final opinion on the subject -- not to say that it will never be discussed again, but I think she covers my sentiments very well.
